WHEN TO CHOOSE ‘DISTRIBUTOR’ OPTION?
If you are a distributor (sales representative) of Schmidt Presses, and making the service request on behalf of your customer, please choose the option Distributor.
If you are a (special purpose) machine builder and the machine with an integrated Schmidt Press isalready at your customer’s location, please choose the option Distributor.
WHEN TO CHOOSE ‘END USER’ OPTION?
If you are the end user (owner) of a Schmidt Press and wish to make a service request without contacting your local distributor, please choose the option End User.
If you are a machine builder integrating a Schmidt Press in a (custom) special purpose machine, and the Schmidt press is not at your customer’s location, please choose the option End User.

Please provide us your (service request applicant) contact details. All fields are required to ensure we have several options to contact you so we can act quickly upon your service request.
END USER CONTACTS
WHOSE CONTACTS?
If you have chosen Distributor option in the previous step, please provide the contact details of your customer using the Schmidt Press, i.e.; where the Press is used in production. This will help us to analyze technical problems and/or prepare for on-site services.
If you have chosen End User option in the previous step, please provide your contact details to ensure we have several options to contact you regarding your service request.

PRESS CALIBRATION
Press Calibration is only required for presses with real-time stroke and force monitoring (PressControl 600 and 5000) on a yearly basis. Our calibration services come with authorized certificates which are in compliance with ISO and other industry standards.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
If you encounter a technical problem, a malfunctioning press, or you’re in need of maintenance and repairs, please choose Technical Support.

TOOLING DESCRIPTION
For Press Calibration it’s important we understand what type of tooling is used on the press. Please describe the tooling as detailed as possible. In the next step you will be able to upload tooling photos.
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
It is possible your Schmidt Press has certain special functions. If so, please mention which special functions are on the Press you’re submitting a service request for.
ERROR DESCRIPTION
For Technical Support it’s important you describe the error as detailed as possible. In the next step you will be able to upload error photos, if applicable.
ERROR PHOTOS
Provide 1 or more photos of the error, if applicable. Be sure the photos are sharp and clear. The total upload size of all photos can be max. 2MB.
PREVIOUS INCIDENTS
Typical incidents include, but are not limited to, the following. If any of these incidents have taken place, please mention them, or any other incidents that might be relevant.
Accidents causing ram damage

TOOLING PHOTOS
Provide 4 photos of the Schmidt Press with tooling. Be sure the photos are sharp and clear, showing the Schmidt Press from 3 different angles (Left, Front, and Right) and 1 close up photo of the tooling area. Each photo can be max. 800kB.
